The Main Properties And Uses Of Abrasive Net
Glass fiber grid sand is based on glass fiber woven fabric, coated with polymer anti-emulsion soaking. So it has good alkali resistance, flexibility, and high tensile strength in warp and weft. In addition, glass fiber mesh sand has the following properties:
1. Mesh sand is resistant to alkali, acid, water, cement corrosion, and other chemical corrosion; it has strong adhesion to resin and is easily soluble in styrene.
2. High strength, high modulus, lightweight.
3. Good dimensional stability, stiff, smooth, not easy to shrink and deform, and good positioning.
4. Good impact resistance. (Because of the high strength and good toughness of grid sand)
5. Anti-mildew and anti-insect.
Due to the above characteristics, grid sand is widely used in thermal insulation, waterproofing, crack resistance, etc. of buildings' inner and outer walls. Glass fiber grid sand is divided into glass fiber grid sand for interior walls and glass fiber grid sand for exterior walls. The alkali-resistant glass fiber grid sand for internal wall insulation is made of medium-alkali or non-alkali glass fiber grid sand as the base material and then coated with modified acrylate copolymer glue. Lightweight, high strength, temperature resistance, alkali resistance, waterproof, corrosion resistance, crack resistance, stable size. It can effectively avoid the shrinkage of the overall surface tension of the plastering layer and the cracking caused by external forces. The light and thin interior wall grid sand is often used for wall renovation and interior wall insulation. Glass fiber grid sand for exterior walls is a new type of anti-corrosion material made of medium-alkali or non-alkali glass fiber yarn as the raw material, woven into glass fiber grid sand as the base material, and then coated with acrylic acid copolymer solution and dried—alkaline products. The product has a stable structure, high strength, good alkali resistance, anti-corrosion, crack resistance, best reinforcement effect, and simple construction. It is mainly used in cement, gypsum, wall buildings, and the inner and outer surfaces of structures, which can enhance and prevent cracking. It is a new type of building material for external wall insulation projects.
